SmartExporter. To use SmartExporter you have to disable the FIPS mode.
If you are required to use the FIPS mode, you cannot use SmartExporter.

Using SmartExporter in combination with other tools:
----------------------------------------------------
Please note that IDEA has to be installed on your computer if you want
to create IMD or IDM files. The integration of SmartExporter into IDEA is
now part of the IDEA setup and is automatically performed during the
installation of IDEA. So even if IDEA is installed after SmartExporter,
it is no longer necessary to manually trigger the integration.

The current SmartExporter version supports IDEA version 11.1,
11.2, 12.0, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 or higher as well as the analysis
tool SmartAnalyzer, which is integrated in IDEA.

SAP system:
------------

SAP version: ERP 6.0 SAP base release 7XX

Installation of SmartExporter SAP components. As an alternative you can
also use the SAP standard components, which, however, come with
limitations of the SmartExporter functionality. The alternative
ZAUDICZ_RFC_READ_TABLE is no longer included in the deployment due to
changes in SAP.

Implementation of an SAP user with the required authorizations for
online access.

Note:
- The SmartExporter SAP components are deployed as SAP transport
requests and as an Add-On (certified by SAP SE). Import these
transport requests (or as an alternative, implement the Add-On) in
your SAP system as described in the documentation. To use the full
scope of SmartExporter functionality the installation of the
  SmartExporter SAP components is required.
- Another data extraction method is the use of SAP standard components
(RFC_READ_TABLE function module) already existing on the SAP system.

Both methods of data extraction are deployed with detailed step-by-step
instructions for the implementation and/or configuration.

Refer to the Readme.txt file in the SAP Components folder of your
download package for more information on both data extraction methods.

Installation:
=============

Start the installation by double-clicking the Setup.exe file. Select the
installation language and follow the instructions in the wizard.
If you want to install the SmartExporter Data Privacy Decryption tool,
select it on the 'Install Options' page of the install wizard.
SmartExporter Data Privacy Decryption enables you to decrypt data that
was encrypted using the SmartExporter Data Privacy functionality.
For more information on the installation of SmartExporter Data Privacy
Decryption refer to:
https://docu.caseware.net/SmartExporter/2024R1/Components/en/Content/Decryption/DecryptTool_Installation.htm

Note:
-----
- The setup checks whether a 32 or a 64 bit operating system is existing
on the machine. If it is a 32 bit operating system, the installation
will end with an error message.
If you use SmartExporter in combination with IDEA, you have to use
  IDEA 11.1 or higher.

- SmartExporter is protected by an electronic license. If installing the
required drivers failed, you have to install them manually. Please
open the 'HASP' folder and use the 'haspdinst.exe' file with
parameter -i to run the setup.

- If you want to run SmartExporter in online mode, i.e. connect to an
SAP system, you have to make sure that the required NetWeaver RFC
DLLs or classic RFC DLLs are stored in the correct directory for the
communication between SmartExporter and the SAP system.
With SmartExporter 2024 R1 and higher, the NetWeaver RFC DLLs are included
in the SmartExporter setup and are automatically stored to the correct
  directory during installation.
However, the classic RFC DLLs cannot be deployed in the SmartExporter
setup. Therefore, if you want to use the classic RFC protocol, you
may have to download the classic RFC DLLs and store them to the correct
directory, see detailed information in the SmartExporter webhelp:
  https://docu.caseware.net/SmartExporter/2024R1/Components/en/Content/Support-Portal/SupportPortal_Problem_787.htm

- You will find 'Getting started' information regarding SmartExporter in
the folder 'Documentation' in the 'SmartExporter_Guide_EN.pdf' file.
The guide is also available via Start - Programs - Caseware
  SmartExporter - Guide.

- To enable the communication between the SmartExporter Windows client
and the SAP system, you have to decide which of the two available
methods of data extraction (SmartExporter SAP components or SAP
standard components) you want to use and then you have to adjust and
configure the SAP system as described in the respective
documentation. Refer to the Readme.txt file in the SAP Components
folder of your download package for more information.

Update from previous versions:
------------------------------

Please refer to the 'New_Features_SmartExporter_2024_R1.pdf to get an
overview of the new features and improvements of the current version.

The current SmartExporter version can be installed on an existing
SmartExporter version. The SmartExporter registration for use in
combination with other software (e.g. IDEA) is set by default. If you
have set the integration of IDEA for the previous SmartExporter version
and you do not want to keep it for the current version, it is
recommended that you re-run the IDEA setup after the SmartExporter
installation is done.

If you have already activated your license, the activation is still
valid and will be recognized by the new SmartExporter version.

Note:
-----
SmartExporter can be run with the SmartExporter SAP components 3.0.0001
or higher. Older SmartExporter SAP components versions are not
supported anymore.
